Dear Mike,

 

I purchased the Explosive Hitting DVDs in the Fall and immediately put the concepts and drills to work with my high school baseball team. I recorded the ball exit speed of every player using their existing swing. Then I taught them the movements found in the DVDs and re-tested their ball exit speed later that afternoon. 

Of the 34 players I tested, 31 improved their BES by at least 3-4 mph (some more) and the other three stayed the same (I attribute their lack of improvement to a poor approach on the tee). Three months later I tested BES again and virtually every player gained an additional 2-3 mph. We will enter our Spring season with the intent to hit every ball hard and allow our natural athleticism to work in the swing.

 

There was initial pushback from some players when I introduced the movements found in the dvds because they were locked into the rigid mechanics taught to them by local instructors. But they couldn’t argue with the improvement in BES. The position-to-position swing they had been taught just did not produce the velocity and distance that the Explosive Hitting swing did.

 

In over thirty years of coaching at a highly successful level, I have never found an approach to hitting that rivals the Explosive Hitting Dvds. My reputation means everything to me and I would never give my seal of approval to anything that I didn’t believe in 100%. This is the best information available.
