Why Do We Emphasize The Development Of Speed and Power? |
Who plays at the highest levels? Those who can throw the fastest, hit the hardest, or run the fastest. Period! You can look pretty, but looking pretty doesn't equal speed and power. |

Ryan Loutos Selected All-State |
Ryan Loutos is a great example of development. As a freshman his fastball was hovering at 70mph. As a senior he reached 90mph. True development takes the right environment, the right information, a lot of hard work, patience, and time. Great things can happen when you factor all of these pieces together.
|
Anything You Measure - You Can Improve. We are obsessed with objectively measuring during training. |
The Single Biggest Mistake Most People Make is......... |
They assume speed and power is all about genetics. Genetic traits simply tells us where we begin. We find that true development has more to do with environment, mindset, work ethic, and guidance. |

Where Power and Precision Come Together! |
Ever Get Advice Like This? Slow Down. Don't swing so hard. Don't throw so fast. |
| If you told a down hill skier to slow
down you would guarantee certain
defeat.
If you slow down in baseball,
this is a recipe for long term
disaster.
The greatest players learn
to have precision and control
while throwing or swinging
fast.
You have to train both, if
you're going to play at the
higher levels.
Speed & Precision Should
Be Trained Together.
|
Tell a down hill skier to slow down. This will guarantee he will lose. The same applies to baseball. A downhill skier must learn how to move fast without wiping out or crashing. So do you! To be an elite thrower and an elite hitter you must train both speed and precision. You don't just slow down, otherwise you will lose. |
Ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Why Not your kid? |
Xander Rojahn throws 97mph as a Sophomore! Began in the 4th Grade! |
 |
Xander Rojahn 97mph Throwing Speed |
|
| We Grow Talent:
Xander Rojahn began training when he was only in 4th grade.
Throughout the years Xander's velocity slowly increased year after year.
As a sophomore in HS Xander now has topped out at 97mph Turn and Burn
Throwing Speed at 15 years old. Xander has also thrown 90mph on the
mound and 94mph ball exit velocity.
Success Leaves Clues:
Xander is as consistent with training as anyone.
He particpates in our year round training and has done
so for several years now.
He has been on a training cycle that includes building velocity,
command, arm health, and even in-season works on a
in-season recovery program.
Congrats to Xander Rojahn on setting his personal high at 97mph.
We look forward to helping get the next 10.

Joey Hanley sets his personal record of 91mph |
|
| We Grow Talent:
When Joey Hanley began training at Fastball USA in the 8th grade he was throwing 66mph. In the fall of his senior year in high school Joey set his all time personal record of 91mph.
Success Leaves Clues:
It's important to note that this is NOT easy. Joey simply followed our formula for baseball development. When you have the right teachers, and the right envrionment, mixed with a kid with a tremendous attitude, and a burning desire to improve, then special things happen.
If your looking for easy....Fastball USA is not the place for you. Joey has been a year round student for the past 5 years following the concept of training periodization, mindset training, arm health, and doing velocity training as it makes sense. Joey has literally put thousands of hours into training.
Is this something your kid is willing to do? If not we have identified 80 academies in the chicago area who would be willing to take your money to give your kid a private lesson. We will continue to grow talent with others who are motivated to work just like Joey Hanley.

|
| Hey Mike,
Just wanted to let you know that we do nearly all the same arm care here as we did at fastball. We do numerous variations of all of the arm care on an everyday basis, and also we do ALOT of the flexibiltiy and pre workout warmups that we did at fastball. Fastball USA pretty much prepared me for pro ball, and currently I have over 100 innings on my arm this year, and I have to thank you for teaching me the importance of arm care. In the past, my arm would usually be in pain around this time of year, and I would be experiencing "dead arm". But currently my velocity is still sitting in the 90-93 range and topping around 95mph. Once again, I just wanted to thank you for everything, and please continue to stress the importance of arm care, flexibiltiy, and good old fashioned hard work to the rest of the guys. Thanks, Mike Giovenco

READ WHAT AUSTIN SAID ABOUT HIS
FASTBALL USA EXPERIENCE:
"Before coming to Fastball USA, I was a freshman throwing 72mph. As a kid I was taught to throw with good mechanics and never to just let it fly.
But when I came to Fastball it was completely the opposite.
Everything is focused on going as fast as you can,
even if It means being out of control at first.
I started training at the facility and I have
seen major improvements in my game.
Freshman year I wasn't even in the starting rotation
as a pitcher and when I did pitch I walked a lot of people.
But after I trained for just one offseason
I was the starting pitcher for our first conference game.
I had improved my velocity to 80 mph off the mound in just one offseason. Then over this summer I continued to train with Fastball USA and I improved my velocity to 86 mph off a turn and burn and 82-83 off the mound. In about 2 years, I have gained 14 mph on my fastball because of the great training.
I would definitely recommend Fastball USA to anyone who wants to work hard and has goals of playing at the next level. It is a great way to specifically train for baseball and improve your game in the right way."

Ron Wolforth Of The Texas Baseball Ranch Says This About Fastball USA.... |
 |
Ron Wolforth - Texas Baseball Ranch |
|
|
|
I have known Mike Ryan and his family for
more than 10 years now and for 8 of those
years I have conducted two pitching clinics per
year in their facility.
Mike, Shelly, Steve, Paddy
and the entire Fastball family is a truly remarkable
team. They have taken Ranch concepts and applied
it in their own unique way.
They are not only caring, compassionate teachers
and innovators, more importantly, they are simply
wonderful, honest, sincere people. I consider
Fastball USA as an extension of me and our baseball
Ranch in Texas. I have a special place in my heart for
the Ryans and all the athletes that train at Fastball.
I truly look forward to my visits every year and to see
how Mike has applied my pitching concepts to his
passion which is hitting.
If you get the opportunity to train with Mike and Steve,
I could no more highly recommend it.

Joey Hanley - 9MPH Improvement in 12 Months! AND STILL IMPROVING! |
The Joey Hanley Story
When I Started I was Weak and Slow ............
I began with Fastball USA the summer entering my 8th-grade year. I was weak, slow, my hitting was less than poor and my command and velocity was nothing to brag about. Then, within months of training and extremely hard work, I say major improvements in my velocity, stamina, speed, command, batting and over-all art of pitching.
I started with a fastball that was 64-67 mph, and now a year later into my freshman year I have a 73-76 mph fastball, 84 mph step behind and a bat exit-speed of 82.
Fastball USA knows how to train a baseball player to go from standard skill to being an extremely hard working, exceptional pitcher or hitter.

Mike Di Viesti Heading To Butler University |
|
|
Congrats to Team Fastball Catcher, Mike Di Viesti for his recent committment to Butler University to play baseball with the Bulldogs.
Michael worked very hard over the past year to improve his throwing and hitting power along with his quickness. Michael improved his throwing speed from 74 to 87mph and reduced his pop time to 1.9.
His improvement in ball exit speed also have reached as high as 92mph. Congrats to Mike and continued hard work.
|
Look at What Mike's Dad Said About Fastball USA and Team Fastball !!!!
We can't say enough about how Team Fastball and Coach Ryan has helped our son not only improve his skills but also improve the way he approaches the game. What he has learned at Team Fastball helped him get recruited and earn a spot on Butler's baseball team starting in the 2013/2014 season.
The key difference between playing for Team Fastball versus other travel teams is that the coaches at Team Fastball work on the skills and attitude that makes one a better baseball player. It is not just about winning a game. We have received many positive comments about how Team Fastball prepares for and plays games from college recruiters who came to see the team play.
That made a big difference in the recruiting process. The only regret we have is not finding Team Fastball earlier. Our son did not join until the beginning of his Junior year.
If your son has dream of playing beyond High School, I strongly recommend Team Fastball.

Mitch Baker Will Pitch For Judson University |
The Mitch Baker Story.......
From Not Making The Varsity Team To Throwing 90MPH in 14 Months!!
Mitch Baker, a tall lanky kid with a dream. Plays Little League, Travel Ball and moves onto his High School freshman and sophomore teams. He has an above average fastball, smooth delivery and told lots of potential... then fails to make his varsity team his junior year. New coach, politics, lack of focus might have sunk him, but he took it upon himself to get better. He had to find his focus.
2010 Mitch goes in 100% to the teachings at Fastball. While missing Spring ball he attends FB 2-3 times a week.
Summertime he attends 2 large Midwest showcases posting the 1st and 3rd highest MPH times out of hundreds of 2011 prospects. Offers from colleges start to come in. Contacts through your organization start to develop. Coaches come out to Fastball to see Mitch work out.
2010 -2011 Mitch continues to work out posting 94 mph turn and burn and 86-88 off the mound. Senior Year he goes undefeated. 2011 Mitchell signs a Scholarship to a local school with strong baseball program. He hits 90 mph off the mound.
Mitch had a strong fall and is slated to play varsity ball his freshman season.
We are indebted to your program and look forward to seeing you during holiday breaks...to keep the focus.

John Thomas Commits to the University Of Indianapolis |
Thomas Reaches 100mph Ball Exit Speed |
The John Thomas Story -
Throwing Speed and Ball Exit Speed Jumps In One Off-Season
"I chose Fastball USA because I was in need of something different that works. The old pitching and hitting mechanics are no where near the velocity and performance you can get with these guys.
My biggest frustration before fastball was not having the strongest arm. I used to not like playing long toss because my arm would hurt but now I have fun doing it without no pain and I can watch my ball just keep carrying like never before.
When I first started Fastball Training, my fastball averaged in the mid to high 70s and now I average in the low to mid 80s.
My exit speed before fastball was 80 and now its 90+!! These numbers have all been measured in this past year. Fastball USA is the way to go if you want to take your game to the next level!!"
Thanks coach Mike and all others!
